Greedy Sportsman's Day in the Garden City

If you are out-of-towners who would love to have a fun day in Christchurch enjoying some of the outdoor activities that Christchurch offers as well as a look around the rebuild of Christchurch, please come and join me.

I offer a totally flexible guiding service to enable you to enjoy your stay in the rebuilt Garden City. My tours can be from half day to multi day tours and can incorporate as much outdoor activity or sightseeing as you wish.

I am a well experienced local tour guide who loves and has lived in this city for most of my adult life and delight in sharing the city with you.

I have a hybrid 4 wheel drive BYD Shark 6 which can seat 5 people including myself.

The minimum period I offer is a 4 hour experience.

I can offer to show you our city with a combination of sports activity to suit your interests and what the weather allows.

There are not many sports that I don't enjoy to take part in and our city is blessed with amazing facilities to enable you to have a great active day in our city.

I can pack golf clubs, tennis gear, table tennis, pickle ball, snooker, darts, wind carts, kite flying, mountain biking, hiking and bird watching gear, clay pigeon shooting or skiing in the Winter.

I can take you sightseeing in the city itself or travel to the Waipara valley to enjoy wines, mountain biking the Waipara Winery trail, soaking in the pools in Hanmer, jet boating.

Food wise happy to harvest food from my garden and bake some bread and enjoy a picnic in a scenic spot or enjoy back in my sunroom if the weather isn't so warm. Also delighted to drop you at whatever restaurant or food area you may wish to enjoy your lunch at.

Let me facilitate an active few days in the Garden City or the surrounding Canterbury area. Flexible as to the number of days you wish to be hosted. My tours are tailor made to suit the fitness and interests of my guests. If required I can recommend suitable accommodation to suit guests wishes or guests are welcome to stay with me in my home and enjoy cooking together and harvest food from my glasshouse, vegetable garden or fruit trees.

A walk through the Botanical Gardens to view the remarkable range of plants and hear about the history of the Gardens and plantings.
