Aoraki Mount Cook Tour.

My Mount Cook Tour from Christchurch gives you an opportunity to see a huge range of landscapes from the Canterbury Plains, through the rolling pastures of Geraldine and then up into the Alpine Tussock around Lake Tekapo through to the permanent snow Alpine Scenery of Aoraki Mount Cook National Park where you can see the true magnificence of the highest mountain in New Zealand. We will stop for morning tea at The Church of the Good Shepherd beside the turquoise blue waters of Lake Tekapo. Stop at the Salmon farm to feed the salmon and if you wish, we can have salmon for lunch..can’t beat here for freshness.

We will then drive up into the Alpine wonderland of the Mount Cook National Park as the Glaciers and permanent snow comes closer and closer. Enjoy a two course homemade picnic lunch in a scenic location of your choice. Opportunity to go on a Scenic Flight (optional), or just relax and enjoy the magnificent views from The Hermitage or join a boat cruise on the Glacial Lake (optional) at the foot of Mount Cook.
